[Salt-N-Pepa voice] Let’s talk about strength-train-ing!
Is that reference too old? If so, wonderful.
I’ve been doing a lot of strength training, HIIT, and cardio workouts over the past few weeks to make up for the running I haven’t been doing. Weights, lunges, burpees, squat jumps, boxer shuffles, deadlifts, and ab work have dominated my mornings as of late.

Two days in a row of wet road running, but I’m excited that it seems to be getting warmer out. At least I was until I looked at the forecast for the next 48 hours: 3-5 inches of snow expected Saturday night. Chance of snow: 100%. Chance of me doing my long run Sunday morning: ???%.

I’m still not sure if it’s fall allergies or a cold. My dad told me the pollen is bad lately, and he should know. It might be that. Either way, I woke up this morning with half a stuffed up nose and ultra tired. I’ve been getting about 5 to 6 hours of a sleep a night, which I can usually handle, but lately it feels like I need more.
